Holy Rosary National School, Wicklow

Welcome

Céad Míle Fáilte go dtí Láithreán Gréasáin na Scoile. As Principal, it is my great privilege to introduce you to our school. We are delighted that you have taken the time to explore who we are and what we strive to achieve.

Holy Rosary is a Catholic, co-educational national school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of the Dublin Diocese. We are proud to be a Dominican primary school under the trusteeship of Le Chéile. While we embrace our Catholic ethos, we also warmly welcome children from all faiths and backgrounds, celebrating the uniqueness of every pupil in a caring, positive, and holistic learning environment. Our goal is to nurture a community where every child feels valued, respected, and supported to reach their fullest potential.

From Junior Infants to Sixth Class, Holy Rosary provides an enriching educational journey that encourages children to flourish. We are also privileged to support pupils with autism through our three dedicated classes, where every child receives the care and guidance they need to thrive. The talents, energy, and enthusiasm of our pupils are the heartbeat of our school, and we take great pride in all they achieve.

We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated staff who go above and beyond to support each child’s growth. Our teachers, SNAs, and ancillary staff work together to create a supportive, active, and engaging learning environment. We offer a wide range of extracurricular activities, giving every child an opportunity to enjoy a range of experiences and have fun with their friends.

We believe a happy school is a successful school. When children feel safe and happy, they are more engaged. Our aim is to foster resilience, respect, and a lifelong love of learning in every child.

Strong partnerships with parents and guardians are central. We greatly value open communication and the vital role our parents and guardians play in the life of the school. Should any questions or concerns arise, we encourage you to contact us through the appropriate channels.

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you enjoy exploring life at our school.
Le meas,
Brendan Roache
