On Friday, 5th September, we were delighted to welcome Fr. Gerard to the school for a very special occasion – the blessing of the schoolbags. This marked our first school assembly of the year.
Fr. Gerard spent time with the children in both buildings, speaking so kindly to the boys and girls and helping us begin the year on a positive note. Pupils brought their schoolbags to the hall for the blessing, and Fr. Gerard reminded us that it was not just the bags being blessed, but also the children who carry them. He wished everyone a safe, happy, and successful year ahead.
We are very grateful to Fr. Gerard for visiting and sharing this lovely start to our school year.
