Well done to our girls who took part in the Cumann na mBunscol participation blitz in Bray Emmets yesterday!
For many of them, it was their first time wearing the school jersey and certainly not the last! We’re so proud of them.

On Thursday we went to to a blitz in Bray Emmets. When we got there we were given our jersey. We were all very excited putting them on and it was the first time that some of us got to play for the school. Then we all did a really good warm up together. We got split up into our teams of Team 1 and Team 2. Team 2 played their first match against the Gaelscoil, while Team 1 waited for their first match against Roundwood . They were the first of four matches each. Throughout the day we played against St Pats Bray and St Laurences too.
Everyone played really well in their positions, passing the ball to each other and scoring points.
We left Bray at 12:30 to go back to share our news with everyone. We felt both proud, sweaty and delighted with ourselves after our day of playing Gaelic Football.
